Jen Shirkani is a nationally recognized expert on emotional intelligence and a featured author of Ego vs EQ and Choose Resilience. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Child Development and a Master of Arts degree in Organizational Leadership.

Join us and leverage the power of emotional interlligence as a critical behavioral science. We will include examples of using emotional intelligence as a leader and to influence others, and gives audience members with an opportunity to take a self-assessment to have more insight into behavioral responses.

FRIDAY LEADERSHIP FORUM: NAVIGATING THE LEADERSHIP JOURNEY

Join in conversation with Dr. Alissa Mwenelupembe, Managing Director of Early Learning at the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), as she shares her leadership journey and key lessons that she learned along the way.

Alissa Mwenelupembe has worked in early childhood education for the past 20 years and has a long history with NAEYC as a member, volunteer, author and past student governing board member.
